Maria C. Coelho, 99, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Somerset Ridge Center following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joaquim Coelho. Born in Beira Alta, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Bernadino Ferreira and the late Susana Ferreira. Prior to her retirement she worked as a loom operator in the local textile industry for many years.

She leaves her loving children, Antonio Coelho, Luis Coelho, Amelia Medeiros and Isabel Nunes, all of Fall River, Massachusetts and her eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Jose Coelho.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
