Maria da Conceicao Cerqueira Corga, 81, of Gracao, Sao Jorge, Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal, wife of the late Jose Rodrigues Corga, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her daughter's residence here in Fall River. Born in Gracao, Sao Jorge, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Pereira Corga and the late Maria Martins Cerqueira.

She loved gardening and traveling to such places as Fatima and the Holy Land. Maria also very much enjoyed spending quality time with all her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves her loving children, Almerinda Cunha and her husband, Antonio, and Jorge Corga and his wife, Anabela, both of Fall River; her four grandchildren, Sergio Cunha, Andre Cunha, Ruben Corga, and Vanessa Corga; her sister, Patricia Champagne; one niece and one nephew. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Cerqueira Corga.

Before being transported to Portugal to be buried alongside of her late husband, a visitation period was held on Friday, July 8th, in our Fall River Chapel.
