Maria Conceicao Da Silva, 92, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Widow of Goncalo Da Silva. Born in Calheitas, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Dias Pereira and Virginia do Rego Calisto. Beloved mother of Joseph Silva (wife-Laurinda) of Dartmouth, Bruno (wife-Gorette) and Carlos (companion-Genoveva Carreiro) Silva, both of Swansea, Donatilde Faria (husband-Jose Luis) and Fatima Aguiar-Mota (husband-Manny Mota), both of Somerset; sister of Carmina Carvalho of Fall River and the late Manuel Dias Pereira, Jr. and Marcolina Almeida; grandmother of Joseph Silva, Jr., Brigitte and Kyle Silva, Karen Coelho, Paul, Michael and Luis Faria, Nicole Aguiar, Kendra Maher, Michelle Clark and Kelly Krezwick. Conceicao also leaves 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, November 28th, in St. John of God Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
