Maria D. (Inacio) Farias, 83, of Westport, wife of the late Alfred Farias, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 27, 2020.

Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Helena Inacio.

She was a member of Espirito Santo Church and was a machine operator for many years.

She is survived by her only son, Ricardo Inacio and his companion, Beth Miranda of Westport, and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID pandemic, a private funeral was held on Tuesday, May 5th, from our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.

When the current crisis allows, her family is planning to celebrate her life with a Memorial Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church, the details of which will be announced here.
