Maria A. (Cabral) DaCosta, 77, of Fall River died on March 11, 2008 at Southpointe Rehab and Skilled Nursing after an extended illness. Born in Rabo de Peixe, St. Michael, Azores. She was a daughter of the late Jose and Maria da Luz (Correia) Cabral. A Fall River resident since 1969, she was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Survivors include sons, Donato DaCosta of and Joseph Costa, both of Fall River, Manuel DaCosta of Somerset and Paul Costa of Westport, daughters, Linda Pimentel, Maria Meneses, Otilia Costa and Maria Machado, all of Fall River and Cidalia Arruda of Westport, sister, Maria Estrella of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, grandchildren, Michael Paul,Steven Donald, Leslie, Melissa, Juli and Kimberly DaCosta, Nicholas Costa, Michael Pimentel, Michelle Fleet, Carlo Pavao, Elizabeth Moniz, Scott and Jennifer Meneses, Joe, Amanda, Angela and Jordan Machado, Tayla and Brittany Arruda, great grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth DaCosta, Malique Jelks, Colin Fleet, Belle and Ciara Moniz, Ariana and Emily Meneses and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Jose Cabral & Manuel Cabral. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church Entombment service was held at Notre Dame Mausoleum.
