Maria Rafaela Daluz, wife of the late Jose Amancio Daluz, passed away
on Sunday
surrounded by her loving family at the age of sixty-eight after a brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was known for her great sense of humor, abundant kindness, and deep love of her friends and family. She was an amazing cook, loved music and attending Church feasts. Rafaela was born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores and was the daughter of Maria Conceicao Frias and the late Jose Sousa Frias. Upon arriving in America, she spent the first ten years working in textile mills in Bristol, RI and Fall River, MA. She spent the remainder 30 years of her career, as the owner of Micaelense Bakery in Fall River, MA. Rafaela leaves four children: Nelson and his wife Becky of Pennsylvania, Glenn Daluz, Scott Daluz, and Colleen Daluz all of Westport, and 4 grandchildren; Dylan, Lucy, Magnus and Zane, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Francisco Frias and his wife Laura of Bristol, RI and Paul Frias and his wife Paula of Barrington, RI. Calling hours

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated
on Friday, October 20th,
