Maria DoMonte, 80, formerly of Cedar St., passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at St. Anne's Hospital. Widow of Manuel DoMonte. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Torres. Beloved mother of Tony DoMonte (wife-Lucy), Filomena Resendes (husband-Valdemar), Louise Resendes (husband-Luis) Rita Graham (husband-Henry J.) and Edward DoMonte (wife-Laura); sister of Luis and Joe Torres, Isabel Resendes, Mary Overlock and the late Margarida Resendes, Alfred and Antonio Torres. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and was grandmother of the late Daniel Resendes. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on April 19, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed her committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
