Maria Eduarda Costa, 76, of Fall River, wife of the late Antonio DaCosta, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Santo Antonio, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Raimundo Medeiros Moura and the late Maria Lourdes Medeiros Silva.

She loved cooking, baking, traveling to Florida to visit her daughter, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family, especially her grandsons. A devout Catholic, Maria attended Mass faithfully and prayed the rosary daily.

She leaves her loving and devoted daughter, Sandia Walsh and her husband, Terry, of Fall River; her grandchildren, Antonio and Brayden; one sister, Gabriela Moura Botelho and her husband, Antonio, of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, September 25th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
