Maria Isabel Fagundo, 59, of Fall River passed away unexpectedly on Monday. Wife of Victor C. Fagundo of O'Gil's Restaurant. Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of Conceicao (Araujo) Cabral and the late Francisco Cabral. She loved to fish, travel and tend to her garden. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Fagundo (companion-Michael Lavoie); two brothers, Jose Cabral (wife-Conceicao) and Joao Cabral (wife-Jardelina); her mother-in-law, Gilda Fagundo; sister-in-law, Fatima Sousa (husband Felisberto) and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, March 21st, at the St. Anthony of Padua Church. Following the ceremony, the pallbearers; Peter, Dan and Andrew Sousa, Michael Lavoie, John Costa and Paul Goncalves, brought Maria to her final resting place at the Notre Dame Mausoleum.
