Maria Gloria Aguiar, 82, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday after a short illness. Wife of Jose Domingos Aguiar, to whom she was married for 58 years. Born in Santo Antonio, Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Joao Viveiros Homem and Maria Jose Viveiros, she worked at the former Whaling Mfg. Co. for many years. Beloved mother of Teresa DaSilva (husband-Fernando) and Jose Aguiar (wife-Irene); grandmother of Melinda Aguiar, Christopher and Shannon DaSilva; sister of Dinis Viveiros, Madalena Rego (her twin), Imaculada Machado and the late Maria da Conceicao Faria, Eduarda Rocha, Ilda Botelho, Antonio, Joao and Jose Viveiros. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, March 28th, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
