Maria I. Vieira, 80, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday after a long illness. Born in Punta
Garca, St.Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria Ines (Matos) Vieira. She is survived by her five brothers, Duarte Vieira and his wife Maria of the Azores, Antonio Vieira and his wife Madelina of Brazil, Armando and his wife Rosa, Jose Vieira, and Joao Vieira and his wife Maria, all of Fall River; her sister Odette Franco and her husband Luis of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, March 13th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St.Patrick Cemetery.
