Maria J. Medeiros, 70, of Swansea, wife of Manuel Revoredo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday. Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Acores, daughter of the late Pedro and Maria Isabel (Roque) Medeiros. An avid nature lover, she also enjoyed cooking and gardening. She leaves her three sons, Pedro Revoredo and his wife Maria Raposo of Swansea, Flavio Revoredo and his wife Rosa , and Paulo Revoredo of Fall River; her daughter, Ana Reed and her husband Erick of East Taunton; six grandchildren, Andre, Diana, Beatriz, Carolina, Alex, and Kelly; four great-grandchildren, Eliana, Angelina, Sarah, and Miguel; a brother Miguel Roque Medeiros and his wife Marta of Sao Miguel; two sisters, Ana Maria Roque Medeiros and her husband Manuel Leite and Clotilde Borges and her husband Tobias, of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. Maria was also the sister of the late Jose Pedro Roque Medeiros and the late Joao Carlos Roque Medeiros. Her Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, February 28th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Vinnicum Woods Cemetery in Swansea.
