Maria L. Rego, 79, of Fall River, passed away Sunday unexpectedly. Born in Lagoa, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Angelo and Maria (Raposo) Rego Costa. She was a retired textile worker. She is survived by her brother, Joao Rego; her sister, Julieta Varao and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 25, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
