Maria Miguele Lindo, 92, of Fall River, wife of the late Jose C. Lindo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Remedios da Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose Novo and the late Maria (Albernaz) Novo.

Prior to her retirement, she was a sewing machine operator in the local garment industry for many years. She loved cooking, baking, crocheting, and keeping her home immaculate. She also enjoyed gardening and long rides to the ocean. Most important to Maria was spending quality time with all her family.

She leaves her loving children, Jose A. Lindo and his wife, Terry, Mary E. Arruda (late husband, Moses), Grace Machado and her husband, John, Alda Ferreira and her husband, Joseph, and Manuel A. Lindo and his wife, Ana, all of Fall River; her eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Gilda Tavares (late husband, Julio) of Canada; a sister-in-law, Lebilia Novo; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Manuel Lindo.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 4th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
