Maria O. Marshall, 64, of Fall River, died on April 4, 2008 after a long illness. Wife of Robert A. Marshall. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of Jose and Emily (Pereira Braz) Novo of Fall River. Besides her husband & parents she leaves, 3 sons, Michael Thompson, John & Robert Marshall, all of Fall River, 2 brothers, Frank Novo of Somerset & Joseph Novo of Westport, a sister, Alice Canito of Fall River, her caregiver, Karen Sebastian, 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Marshall & Michael C. Thompson, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late John Novo. Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Rev. Barry Wall at Holy Rosary Church. Pallbearers were Hector Perez, Manny, Joey, and John Novo, Billy Primo and Shawn Souza. Her committal Service was held at St. Patrick Cemetery.
