Maria "Theresa" Miranda, 57, of Fall River, wife of Eduardo "Eddy" Miranda, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Massachusetts General Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Jose Luis and Eva Duarte (Raposo) Raposo. Prior to her illness, she worked in the retail industry for many years. A true homebody, Theresa simply loved being home watching television, doing puzzles, and spending quality time with her husband and her dog. Besides her husband of thirty-six years, she leaves: her devoted  daughters, Cassie Miranda and her companion, Jesse Norwood, of Fall River and Megan Miranda of Los Angeles, CA; one grandchild, Kamryn Norwood; two sisters, Ana Botelho and her husband, Manuel, and Susan Raposo and her husband, Manuel, both of Fall River; her brother, Jose Raposo and his wife, June, of Fall River; many nieces and nephews; and her cherished dog, Chico. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 25th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
