Maria Odete (Rebelo) Pereira, 74, of Tecumseh St. died on August 8, 2008 after a brief illness. Wife of Armando S. Pereira, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Santo Antonio, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao & Maria dos Anjos Pacheco. A Fall River resident since 1969, she worked for the former Stella Ann Frocks and belonged to the ILGWU. She was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Health Church. Survivors include sons, Joseph L. (wife Flor) Pereira of Fall River, Carlos A. Pereira of Westport, brothers, Antonio Rebelo of Cambridge, Ontario and Luis Rebelo of Kitchener, Ontario, grandchildren, Steven, Samantha & Allison Pereira, great grandchildren, Briannah, Chloey & Steven Pereira, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Jose, Ernesto & Joao Rebelo, Jr. & Maria Moniz. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Joe, Carlos, Allison and Samantha Pereira, Tony Moniz and Denise Ferreira.
