Maria Olga Carreiro, 82, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Antonio Carreiro. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Etelvino and Urania (Sousa) Bonanca. Maria loved cooking, baking, spending time with family and was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Survivors include her daughters, Urania Ferreira and her husband John, and Maria "Tina" Fatima Rebelo and her husband Jose; a sister, Gizelia Martins; step-siblings, Louie Bonanca, Joseph Bonanca and Etelvino Bonanca and Cidalia Pereira; grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna and Michael; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late John Bonanca. Her Funeral Mass was con-celebrated on Friday, May 15th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
