Maria M. (Soares) Pacheco, 77, of Fall River, the wife of Antonio R. Pacheco passed away Friday at home surrounded by her family. Born in Relva St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Medeiros and the late Silvana (Soares) Medeiros. She had been a braider in the textile industry for many years, and was a member of St Anthony of Padua Church, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Holy Rosary Society. Maria enjoyed laughing with and being around family and friends. Besides her husband of 57 years she leaves: 3 sons, John and his wife Natalie Pacheco of Fairhaven, Fred and his wife Ana Pacheco of Dartmouth, and Michael and his wife Amy of Fall River, and a daughter in law Sheilah Pacheco ;; 9 grandchildren, Elaine Canary-Bracci, Joshua Pacheco, Amanda Pacheco, Kayla Pacheco, Sylvia Pacheco, Samantha Moniz, Brittany Pacheco, John Pacheco and Benjamin Pacheco;  2 great grandchildren, AJ Moniz and Amora Moniz; 1 sibling, Eduardo Medeiros and his wife Rosa of Bristol, Rhode Island. She was the mother of the late Manuel Pacheco, Anthony Pacheco and Benny Pacheco. She was also the sister of the late Jose Medeiros, Francisco Medeiros, Bento Medeiros, and Manuel Medeiros. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 26th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
