Maria B. Rebello, 70, of Somerset, wife of the late Arthur J. Rebello, passed away on May 26, 2022 at home following a brief illness. Born in Madeira, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Jose M. Andrade and the late Odilia (Dionisio) Andrade.

Prior to her retirement, she was a Home Health Aide for many years and also a lunch lady at Notre Dame School. She loved cooking, baking, and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Maria enjoyed volunteering! She helped in the kitchen of Immaculate Conception and Notre Dame parish halls for their bingo, for the Girl and Boy Scouts, and many other worthy events. But what was most important to Maria was spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves her loving children, Julie Guthrie and her husband, Joshua, of Fall River and Matthew Rebello and his wife, Kristin, of Dighton; her four grandchildren, Emmy Guthrie, Brody Guthrie, Madison Rebello, and Hayden Rebello; her two sisters, Sylvia Andrade and Caroline Andrade, both of Fall River; two brothers, Antonio Andrade and his wife, Idalina, of Fall River and Joao Andrade and his wife, Rosaria, of Westport; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, June 2nd, at Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery both in Fall River.
