Maria C. (Pacheco) Rodrigues, 94, of Fall River, formerly of Cherry St., died on June 30, 2008 at the Fall River Jewish Home. Widow of Manuel Rodrigues. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph F. & Alcilia (Medeiros) Pacheco. A retired sewing machine operator, she worked for various factories, the most recent being the former Center Garment and was a member of both the A.F.L.C.I.O. & I.L.G.W.U. A lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church, she was a member of the Catholic Women's Guild. Survivors include sons, Peter Rodrigues & wife Brenda of Fall River, David Rodrigues & wife Diana of Assonet and Paul Rodrigues of Fall River; brothers, Joseph J. & Peter Pacheco, both of Fall River; sister, Virginia Mullins of Somerset; granddaughters, Brittany Wallach, Lauren & Regan Rodrigues and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers Michael and David Pacheco, Arthur Ferreira, Jim Mullens Sr., Michael Wallach and Jim Mullens Jr. brought Maria to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
