Maria F. Silva, 68, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at St. Anne's Hospital, after an illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jose Silva and the late Maria G. Vieira) Silva, she emigrated to Fall River in 1971 and resided in Fall River most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, she worked in the local textile industry for a number of years. A devout Catholic, Maria was a member St. Mary's Cathedral and the former Sts. Peter and Paul Parish.

She is survived by: two children, Michelle Marcos (husband Tony) and Chris Rodrigues (wife Jennifer) both of Somerset; two siblings, Henry DaSilva (wife Edviges) and Joseph Silva (wife Otila) both of Fall River; three grandchildren, Adyn, Gavin, and Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, January 26th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by a private committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
