Maria "Sofia" Correia, 85, formerly of Davis St., passed away Wednesday at Southpointe Rehab & Skilled Care Center. Widow of Joao M. Correia, she was born in Sao Roque, St. Michael, Azores. Sofia is survived by her stepchildren, Joao M. Branco, Olinda B. Silva and Lina Oliveira; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River, MA.
