Maria B. Tabicas, 84, of Fall River, passed away Sunday unexpectedly. Widow of Luis F. Tabicas. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Bernardo Teixeira and Maria Justina Botelho. She was a retired presser in the garment industry. Beloved mother of Manuel (wife-Lucy) and Jose (wife-Vinny) Tabicas and Cidalia Pimentel (husband-Jose) all of No. Dartmouth, Louis Tabicas (wife-Andresa) of Fall River and the late Virgil Tabicas (his wife-Virginia of Westport); sister of Maria V. Damaso and the late Manuel Botelho, Jose Bernando, Francisco and Joao B. Teixeira. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 8, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
