Maria M. (Medeiros) Vasconcelos, 79, of Fall River, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. She was the widow of Alberto Vasconcelos. She was born in Pedreira De Nordeste, St. Michael, and was  daughter of the late Manuel and Maria ( Brandao) Medeiros. She is survived by her  five children: Carlos Vasconcelos and wife Constance, Jose Vasconcelos, Manuel Vasconcelos and his wife Helen, Tina Miranda and her husband Americo, and Camelia Vasconcelos all of Fall River.  She is also survived by her sister,  Ilda Monteiro and her husband Joe of Fall River. Maria is also survived by her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren She was the sister to the late Manny Medeiros, Joe Medeiros, Jerry Medeiros, John Medeiros, and Dennis Medeiros. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 17th, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
