Mariana J. (Carvalho) Harding, 91, of Fall River, widow of Lee Harding, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Fall River Jewish Home. Born in Amoreiras, Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jacinto Pimentel Carvalho and the late Helena (Medeiros) Carvalho, she emigrated to Fall River in 1948. She resided in Connecticut from 1955 to 2017, after which she moved back to the Fall River area.

She was employed as a supervisor with Hubbell Premise Wiring, Inc., of Stonington, CT, for 27 years. Mariana was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and had enjoyed traveling with her husband.

She is survived by a stepson, two step-granddaughters, and several nieces & nephews. Mariana was also the sister of the late Maria G. Silva, Manuel P. Carvalho, and Joao P. Carvalho.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, May 7th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
