Mariana R. Jacob, 89, of Fall River, widow of the late Joao Jacob, died April 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Bretanha, Sao Miguel, Azores, daughter of the late Jose & Maria (Rosa) Raposo. An active Espirito Santo parishioner, she was a member of its Holy Ghost and Holy Rosary Societies. She leaves: 7 children, Helena Constantino (husband Jose), Joao Jacob (wife Maria), Maria Raposo, Mariana Cabral (husband Americo), Cecilia Jacob, Manuel Jacob, and Odilia Miguel all of Fall River; 12 grandchildren Paul Constantino (wife Nicole), Brian Jacob (fiancé Michelle) Christina Jezak (husband Michael) Kevin Jacob (wife Stacy) Sebrina DeAlmeida (husband David) Carlos Constantino , Joshua Cabral (wife Jessica) Jacob Miguel (wife Annemarie) Jason Jacob, Pedro Miguel, Victoria Miguel, and Tyler Jacob. ; 17 great grandchildren Abigael and Kamryn Constantino, Chloe and Mia Jacob, Adrianna Resendes, Rebekah, Mary Catherine and Michael Jezak, Makenzie, Laekyn and Asher Jacob, Ayden, Kalena, and Genesis DeAlmeida, Rylee and McKinley Constantino, Christian Valero-Ponte ; Also sister of the late Maria Silva, Rosa Medeiros, Cizaltina Reis, Jose Raposo and also the mother of the late Jose Jacob and Manuel Jacob. The family would like to thank Steward Hospice for their care and compassion, especially to Megan Fontes and Gail Ferreira. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 23rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
