Mariana P. Pavao, "Segunda", 83, formerly of Cash St., passed away peacefully on Saturday after a long illness. Widow of Manuel Pavao, Jr. Born in Bretanha, St Michael, Azores. She worked at the former Shelburne Shirt Co. for over 30 years. Beloved mother of Joseph and Manuel Pavao, Ana Jacob, Laura Freitas, Alda Carvalho, Teresa Morais and the late Francisco Pavao; sister of the late Manuel, Antonio, Armando and Jose Pereira and Maria Jacob. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated on February 9th at Espirito Santo Church She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
