Mariana C. Pacheco, 89, passed away Saturday after a long illness. Widow of Manuel "Fenais" Pacheco. Born in Remedios Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Carvalho and Mariana (Rebello) Lindo formerly Carvalho. She was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of Mary Theresa Miranda, Manuel Pacheco, Jr., Edward and Daniel Pacheco; sister of Leontina Benjamin and the late Manuel Carvalho, Jose and Luiz Lindo, Maria Oliveira, Jordelina Carvalho and Leonilde Benjamin and step daughter of the late Augusto Lindo. Mariana also leaves 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, July 6, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
