Mariana (Albernaz) Velho, 70, of Fall River, wife of Jose Velho, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at home. Born in the Azores, daughter of the late Jose & Sarah (Sousa) Albernaz. Besides her husband, of 51 years, she leaves: 7 children, Joe Velho (wife Irene), John Velho (wife Madeline), Lee Pereira (husband Gil), Connie Cabral (husband Eduardo), Tony Velho (wife Maria), Carlos Velho (wife Norma) & Paul Velho; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan, Tiffany, Vanessa, Sabrina, Sarah, Jesseca & Zachary; 4 great grandchildren, Hailey, Samantha, Gavin & Alexander; many nieces & nephews. Also sister of the late Maria Borges, Jose Albernaz & Leonilde De Ponte. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, November 30th, in St. Mary's Cathedral followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
