Marie Medeiros, 93, of Somerset, widow of Alfred P. Medeiros, passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel N. Medeiros and the late Mary (Mendonca) Medeiros.

A nurse's assistant for a short time in her younger years, Marie was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants, going on long rides, and watching soap operas and old westerns.

She is survived by: three children, Robert Medeiros (wife Debra) of Somerset, Kevin Medeiros of Somerset, and Karen Stukus (husband Matthew) of Taunton; nine grandchildren, Melanie Cabral, Erika Amaral, Jonathan R. Sylvia Medeiros, Brooke Nunnelley, Dallas Medeiros, Tyler Medeiros, Emma Bernier, Joseph Neto, and Shane Silvia; eighteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Marie was also the mother of the late Michael F. Medeiros; and sister of the late Richard Medeiros.

Her funeral was private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Marie's memory to a charity of your choice.
