Marilyn T.
Cabral
d. Jan 10, 2023
Marilyn T. Cabral, 74, of Swansea, wife of the late Daniel A. Cabral, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Somerset Ridge Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Ainley and the late Margaret (Duffy) Ainly.
A proud graduate of Plymouth State College, Marilyn continued on to earn her Master's Degree in Education. A lifelong teacher & educator who found her calling as the Director of the Business Program at Ser-Jobs for Progress, a job she loved. This angel was an amazing mother & wife who enjoyed her summers on Cape Cod that included daily afternoon cruises in the convertible with the love of her life, Dan. She also loved vacationing with friends and being with her granddogs. A true miracle, this warrior endured numerous health challenges over the years, and somehow continued to be an absolute blessing to everyone that came into contact with her. Although our hearts are heavy, we know that it was finally time for her to be reunited with the love of her life, as this year would've been their 50th wedding anniversary. They are together again. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves her loving son, Stephan A. Cabral and his wife, Melanie, of Swansea, and her brother, Joseph Ainley (late wife, Maryann) of Fall River.
Following a private cremation, a memorial gathering was held on Sunday, January 22nd, in our Somerset Chapel.
