Marilyn Jean Lopes

   Marilyn Jean Lopes, 83, of Fall River, widow of Fernando Lopes, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Berube and the late Ethel (Langton) Berube.

   A manager at Denny’s Restaurant for many years, Marilyn enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

   She is survived by: a daughter, Lisa Couta (husband John Langtry) of Middleboro; three grandchildren, Johnathon Couto (wife Katiana), Katherine Botelho (husband Emilio), and Matthew Couto; a great grandson, Luca; and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by all her siblings, Roland Berube, Carol Thibault, and Debbie Barrow.

   Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Visitation to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

   Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:00 am (following visitation) in the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, with Committal Service and interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
