Mario M. daSilva, of Fall River, beloved companion of Louisa Ponte, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the age of 57. Mario was born in Terceira, Azores and was a son of the late Mario V. and Maria L. daSilva.

Mr. daSilva had been a mason all of his life and was the owner of Dasilva Masonry, Inc.

In addition to his companion of 22 years, survivors include: a daughter, Sheena daSilva, and his step-son Eric Ponte, both of Fall River; four siblings, George daSilva and his wife Maria of San Jose, California, Theresa daSilva of Terceira,  Odella daSilva of Terceira, and Marco daSilva and his wife Venus of Westport; three grandchildren, Arianna Coelho, Leanna daSilva, and Axandrian daSilva and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, June 29th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
