Mario A. Pereira, 61, of Swansea, husband of Donaria "Donna" Pereira, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores a son of the late Luis Moniz Pereira and the late Luiza (Medeiros) Pereira.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, he is survived by: his siblings, Luis Pereira and his wife, Leonor, of Somerset, Jose Pereira of St. Michael, Azores, Fatima DeSousa and her husband, Jose, of Fall River, and Marylou Sangermano and her husband, Scott, of Fall River and several nieces and nephews. He was brother-in-law of Laudalino Silva of Swansea and Lourdes Hilario of Toronto, Canada. He was the brother of the late Fernando Pereira and the brother-in-law of the late Jose P. Silva.

Mario was a hydraulic machine operator for many years with Lightolier. He was also a member of Espirito Santo Church.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 23rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
