Mark
Assad
d. Dec 6, 2025
Mark Assad, 55, of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Fall River and raised in Westport, Mark later made his home in Fall River, where he lived for many years with his beloved wife.
Mark was a loving husband to Stacy Assad, with whom he built a beautiful life. He was the proud father of two daughters, Patricia Assad and K'Lyn Lin, who were his greatest joy. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren — Jayce Diaz, Adrianna Mulcahy, Brett Duarte Jr., and Everly Duarte — each of whom brought him endless pride and happiness. Mark is also survived by his brother, Michael Assad, with whom he shared many years of memories and brotherly bond.
He now joins his beloved parents, Linnea Assad and Ronald Assad, who preceded him in passing. Knowing they are reunited brings comfort to all who loved him.
Mark was known for his loving heart, quick wit, and caring nature. He had a special gift for making people laugh, lifting their spirits, and showing up when he was needed most. Whether with family, friends, or anyone lucky enough to cross his path, Mark led with kindness and humor.
His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched — through his love, his laughter, and the deep connections he nurtured throughout his life.
Mark will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever with love.
Following a private cremation, a visitation period was held Saturday, December 20th, in the St. Anthony of the Desert Church prior to the celebration of His Memorial Funeral Mass. A Celebration of His Life followed in the Church Hall.
