Mary C. Alpoim, 87, of Fall River, wife of Jose P. Alpoim, died on April 9, 2009 at Clifton Rehab, Somerset. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel & Anna (Duarte) Ventura, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Employed in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement in 1984, she was especially known for her curtain drapery work. Sister of Manuel Ventura of E. Greenwich RI, John Ventura of Quakertown, PA, and the late Laura Degallado. She also leaves several nieces & nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church.
