Mary G. August, 86, of Nevada, formerly of Lawton St., Fall River, died unexpectedly on Dec. 19, 2007. She was the widow of James V. August, Jr. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel E. & Maria G. (Costa Simoes) Soares. She was a retired machine operator and a member of ILGWU. She was a parishioner of the former St. Elizabeth Church. Mary is survived by her son, James V. August, III (his wife Kathleen), her granddaughter, Dawn Marie August, her great grandson, Mathieu August, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral was celebrated on January 7th at Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by a committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery.
