Mary T. Augustine, 90, of Swansea, formerly of Davis St, Fall River, widow of Joseph Augustine, died Sunday 10/25/09 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone & Maria (Vieira) Medeiros, she resided in Fall River most of her life, having lived in Swansea for the past 7 years. She had attended the former New England School for the Deaf, in Randolph, MA. She had also been employed at the former Louis Hand – retiring many years ago. She is survived by: a brother, Antone Medeiros (his wife Verna) of Westport; a sister, Alexandrina Mello of Swansea; her caretaker, Amanda DeMelo of Swansea; several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Albert Medeiros. Family and friends gathered for a Mass celebrating Mary's life on Wednesday 10/28/09 at St. Mary's Cathedral.
