Mary J. Bastek, 92, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday. Widow of Stanley F. Bastek. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Pavao) Rapoza. Survivors include a son, Ronald Sleeper; daughters, Patti Sleeper and Yvonne Alves; a sister, Delia Bettencourt; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mother of the late Raymond Sleeper, sister of the late Manuel, Joseph and Gil Rapoza. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Pallbearers Jesse Gonya, Joe Simoe, Sean Derpening and Jesse Sleeper brought Mary to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
