Mary Lou Andrade, 86, of Fall River, passed away Sunday after a long illness. Wife of August Andrade, Sr. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Nickolus and Mary Joseph (Ramos) Teixeira. A retired textile worker, she last worked at the former Essex Mfg. Co. and was a member and former treasurer of the local Amalgamated Clothing Worker's Union. Beloved mother of August Andrade, Jr. (wife-Andrea); grandmother of Regan and Blair Andrade; sister of Thomas and Manuel Teixeira and the late Frank and Joseph Teixeira, Mary Varella and Herminia Monteiro. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, October 27, in Good Shepherd Parish Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
