Mary M. Perry, 100, formerly of Plain St., passed away on Nov. 25. Widow of Alfred Perry, she was born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel and Philomena (Goulart) Medeiros. A retired seamstress in the local textile industry, Mary was the beloved mother of Dolores Reis and the late Pauline Murphy; sister of the late Edna Almeida , Manuel, Frank, Antone, and Joseph Medeiros. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Following her cremation a memorial mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 4 in St. Anthony of Padua Church on Bedford St. Her ashes were later buried in her family plot at St. Patrick Cemetery.
