Mary Jane Malloy-Petit, 95, of Fall River, wife of the late Roger G. Petit, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Michael Marques and the late Emilia (Martins) Marques.

Prior to her retirement she was the proprietor of Malloy Insurance which she ran for over thirty years. She loved knitting, going on cruises, and taking plane rides with her late husband, Roger. She was also a long-time member of the Union United Methodist Church in Fall River.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Paul Jolivet of Fall River; her two grandsons, Aaron Jolivet of Fall River and Adam Jolivet of Woodland Hills, California; one sister, Alice Andrews of Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Amelia Medeiros.

Following a private cremation, Her Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, October 12th, at the Union United Methodist Church in Fall River.
