Mary (Almeida) Medeiros, of Westport, the wife of John Medeiros, passed away at home surrounded by her family at the age of 71. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Dorante and the late Maria (Mello) Almeida. Mrs. Medeiros was a hairstylist for many years, then began her second career as an accounting clerk at local businesses. Besides her husband of 51 years, she leaves her daughter, Kimberly (Medeiros) Chicca of Fall River, and her two grandchildren, Jay Chicca, Jr. and his girlfriend Kaitlin and Samantha Chicca. She was the sister of Edward Almeida, Julia Oliveira, and Claudia Tessier all of Dartmouth. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 24th, in St Theresa Church, Tiverton, followed by her committal   at Notre Dame Cemetery.
