Mary Angela Moniz, 99, formerly of Tobin St, Fall River, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Fall River Jewish Home. She was the widow of Mozart P. Moniz Sr. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Angelo & Eugenia (Mendonca) Medeiros, she lived in Fall River most of her life and also lived in Maryland and New York. She had been employed in the local textile industry for many years. She was the mother of Mozart P. Moniz, Jr. (wife Claudia) of Hyannis, Kathleen Perry of Fall River, & the late Russell J. Moniz (wife Frances); and the sister of Hal Meade of Laguna Nigel, CA, & the late Fernando Medeiros. She also leaves: 2 grandsons, Peter Moniz (wife Lorie) & Damian Moniz (fiancée Molly); 2 great grandchildren, Morgan & Mason; several nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 30, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
