Mary N. Quintal

   Mary Natalie Quintal, 88, of Fall River, widow of Peter M. Quintal, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Mill Brook Rehab. Born in Fall River, she was the only child of the late Manuel Pereira Cabral and the late Maria (Tenchara) Cabral.

   A medical secretary at the former Truesdale Hospital in the 1960s, Mary was later employed by Tremblay’s Bus Co. as a bus monitor for children with disabilities, in the 1990s. She was a lifelong lover of animals and avid supporter of the Humane Society of the United States. Mary also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was an accomplished artist in her younger days.

   She is survived by: a son, Peter D. Quintal of Fall River; a grandson, James Patrick Cabral; and several great grandcats.

   Private Cremation Arrangements were with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
