Mary (Pimentel) Medeiros, age 95, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the widow of John J. Medeiros. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was the only daughter of the late Jose Pimentel and the late Maria (Melo) Pimentel. A resident of Fall River for most her life, she moved to Somerset in 1979 and was a communicant of St John of God Church. Surviving family members include her two sons, John Medeiros, and wife Paula, of Somerset, and Gilbert J. Medeiros, and wife Anna, also of Somerset, six grandchildren, Richard Medeiros, Kevin Medeiros, Jason Medeiros, Justin Medeiros, Adam Medeiros and Ashley Medeiros, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Domingos Pimentel. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John of God Church. She was laid to rest in St. Patrick's Cemetery on County Street in Somerset.
