Mary R. Moniz, 72, of Bay Point Rd., Swansea, passed away Wednesday after a long illness. Wife of Leo E. Moniz. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Lionel F. and Elsie Cabral. She owned the former Kabbe Hair Design on Spring St. Beloved mother of Kim C. Moniz and Lee C. Moniz; grandmother of Jake Moniz; and sister of Daniel Cabral. Mary also leaves several stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Following her cremation, her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, June 11, in St. Francis of Assissi Church in Swansea.
