Mary T. Raposa, 76, of Dolan Apts, Mitchell Dr, Fall River, passed away peacefully after a long illness Wednesday 1/16/13 at Southpointe Rehab. Daughter of the late Jesse & Mary (Rocha) Raposa, she was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Fall River. She worked in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement in 1998, and was a member of ILGWU (now UNITE). She was a member of the former Our Lady of Health Church. Surviving her are several nieces & nephews, including her caregiver, Mary-Lou Fanfara (husband Walter) of No. Dartmouth, and John Botelho (wife Linda) of Somerset. She was also sister of the late Bella Nunes, Alice Raposa, Lucy Botelho & Mary F. Wright. Her funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Jan 22, 2013 at Holy Trinity Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
