Mary "Maria" Santos Silva (Barnes), 94, of Fall River, passed away on July 14, 2018. Born in Warren RI, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Maria (Soares) Silva. She worked in the local textile industry as a sewing machine operator. She is survived by her children Lucien Silva (wife Ginny) of Marshfield, Virginia Silva Leeman of Fall River and Antonia Silva Maniche of Fall River, 10 grandchildren, 18  great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jose Silva and James Silva and the sister of the late Peter Silva. Following her cremation, a memorial funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, July 25th, in Santo Christo Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, to make on a donation online please click here
